Born in Valencia in 1954. Self-taught. In 1974 he began his professional career as an illustrator and graphic designer<\/strong>. Since 1982 her work mainly focuses on child and youth sector: tales and novels, instructional materials, games and instructional activity booklets, interactive CD-ROMs, comic strips, posters, exhibitions, round-table conferences, conferences, workshops and encounters for reading encouraging at schools and libraries\u2026 Usually forms tandem with the writer Carles Cano.
\u00b7 As well as some comics, He has individually illustrated 125 books<\/strong> and instructional materials. He has also designed 50 books<\/strong>, 17 of which are collections, 36 posters<\/strong> and 28 brands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 He has won several awards, including: \u201cLazarillo Award<\/strong>\u201d in 1989 by The Ministry of Culture for Story of a recipe<\/em> (Anaya Publishing House). \u201cAward for best illustrated book in Valencia 2002<\/strong>\u201d by the Valencian Autonomous Government for The two giants of Sant Marcel\u00b7l\u00ed<\/em> (Denes Publishing House). And his work \u00bfIn what do white and black differ?<\/em> (Aura Comunicaci\u00f3 Publishing House) was selected \u201cWithe Raven<\/strong>\u201d by the Juguend Bibliothek of Munich in 1996; “Price for the edited book of 2013”<\/strong> of the Valencian Autonamous Governement for Diverse and dispersed conversos and perverse verses ot the universes<\/em>; “National Illustration Award for Career 2019”<\/strong>, of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 He has participated in the most important professional exhibitions in the industry, including: Bratislava illustration Biennial<\/em><\/strong>, 1989, 1991 and 2009. \u00b7 He has participated as a juror<\/strong> in several illustration awards, including: \u201cTombatosals\u201d, by Tandem Publishing House- Castell\u00f3n City Council. \u201cSambori\u201d, by the Sambori Foundation. \u201cNational of illustration\u201d, by the Ministry of Culture. \u201cFor the best edited books\u201d by the Valencian Autonomous Government.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 He has been co-founder, president and vice president of the Professional Association of Illustrators of Valencia and co-founder and secretary of the Federation of Associations of Professional Illustrators.
